"There is a software package called Motorola Phone Tools that you can use to install both a driver for the RAZR V3 and also software that allows you to backup/restore phone settings, handle media files, and other stuff. Unfortunately it's not free software, so I can't encourage you to download it without paying for it, but I use it with my RAZR V3i and it works great. Good to know you can back up all your Contacts so if you lose your phone or SIM you can get 'em back.

It will also allow you to get in there and delete/add Contacts as you see fit. The deluxe version is $40 and may be worth the investment."
