anyone want a job riding bikes?

Hi - I'm offering a job to help ride and research mtb routes in the Teteven area. Local knowledge would be great but I have maps - the rides just need following! Only until the snows start and then possibility for a lot more work in the spring/summer/autumn. Accommodation possible, english language essential......lets hear from ya!

The job sounds as if it has been made for our Admin.He loves examining new routes anywhere and I'm sure he will be fascinated to get you lost in Teteven area.

I think that Sid isn't going to ride with the "test bikers" when they are trying a route for the first time.

Thanks for the interest guys, although no takers yet! I am now living in the area and riding as much as I can but I need more help. Some routes we ride together, some seperately and some we take different directions as they come up.......it sounds great because it is!!!!!

Hi guys - no I am in Teteven now, riding the routes as fast as I can before snow stops play. I need someone to find the rides with me and others whilst I'm on riding on the other side of the mountain. Don't tell me I'm going to have to bring in foreign guides!

I would recommend GSP :

there is a lot of to choose , however any GSP with map will be more usefull.
Another hint is don't forget to check it out before to buy - it should be lightweight and works with NiMH batteries those with Li-Ion Li-Polymer are great but what you are going to do when the battery dies.

you can find map of Bulgaria - would be nice to help with waypoint and tracks.

Don't forget to bring your maps and compas, just in case ;-) .
If you do so you might not need to hire guide ;-).

Cheers, thebiker, that's helpful. Unfortunately the problem I'm running into is overgrown tracks - they are there for 200m then overgrown, then ok for 200m etc... Just have to ride them! I think I need a team of goats to keep the tracks clear.....

And goats might be cheaper solution ;-)).
A don't forget to look for maps - even on paper it might be usefull ;-) - the gps burns batteries like hell.
